Establish Endowment Opportunities
Develop plans and opportunities that allow members to leave living financial legacies to the church.
Goal: To set up a method through which members can establish permanent endowments to promote ministries of the church that are special to them.
Narrative: The church will establish a series of endowment funds, foundations or other mechanisms that will allow members to establish permanent endowments of programs and ministries of interest to them. The endowment funds will be used to underwrite the cost of church ministries as directed by endowment donors. The funds will support such ministries as worship, administration, youth work, scholarship, home and foreign mission, scholarships, etc..
Resources Needed: Endowment Fund Committee, Trustees, Pastor
Resource Development: Trustees and endowment fund committee members will attend workshops, participate in leadership school instruction and visit neighboring churches.
