Goal: To improve the economic base of the community by working with other churches in joint, church based, ventures..
Narrative: The congregation will network with other churches in the local community in joint economic development projects with the aim of improving the economic base of the membership population of local participating churches and its surrounding constituencies. Grants will be sought through public and private sources to acquire seed money for ventures. The church will provide seed money to help underwrite its share of joint venture projects shared with other churches.
Resources needed: Economic Development Committee, Grant Writer.
Resource Development: The church’s economic development committee will meet with leaders of surrounding churches for assistance in formulating venture possibilities.
