Increase Membership Involvement in Church Ministries

Place members into committees that reflect their interests and talents

   Goal: To achieve maximum member involvement in the implementation of the church’s worship, administrative and service ministries.

   Narrative: The congregation will involve all members in the church’s ministries. A resource assessment survey will be conducted on a house to house basis to ascertain the interests of the membership and committees will be reactivated, created or expanded to respond to interest areas discovered.

   Resources Needed: Pastor, Church Growth Committee, Clerical.

   Resource Development.Forms and data gathering instruments will be designed and church growth committee members will be in-serviced.

   Implementation Goal: 2001

    2000, Design data instruments, begin surveys.
    2001, Complete surveys, implement committees

    Implementation Time Frame: 2 years, beginning January 2000

    Estimated Costs to Accomplish Objective: $500 in incidental supplies over two years
